Heck, when Jack was younger he used to run along beside the jackrabbits and feel of them to see which was fattest before he decided which one to bring home.

Haven't seen Jdupre's new rifle yet but I'm working on it.

It is one of the old standard JACK BUNYON stories. Jack Bunyon, of course, is the older brother of Paul Bunyon.

Sort of off track here, but not by far: i've been working to reseal my old Crossman 101, C. 1947. I bought the seal kit. Then bought a part which was missing (??). Assembled it all per the manual and it still won't shoot. So, off it goes, with a pocket full of money to a fellow who does this for a living. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER.

No matter what was going on, he always seamed to be under foot.
If at first you don't succeed. Re-Load
The Metric System never really caught on in the U.S.
Unless you consider the increasing popularity of the 9 mm bullet.

Well, she's not exactly new anymore. I'm on my second spring--- a James Macarri "Old School" spring kit. It toned down the recoil and increased smoothness and accuracy. The stock spring bit the dust at about 2000 rounds. This gave me the incentive to tear the gun apart to replace the spring, deburr all parts of the internals and polish up the contact surfaces. Thanks, Tom. She cocks as smooth as silk now.

I've been as close to addicted to shooting this rifle as anything I've ever done. It is smooth, accurate and just plain fun. I'm up around 9000 rounds so far in a little less than a year. It really feels like shooting a 22 rifle in your back yard. Soda cans at 70 yards are in DEEP trouble. That is simply amazing to me for a "pellet gun" . "Airgun" is the current politically correct term nowadays. :)

Ok guys, go get the old Benjamin or Daisy out of the closet and plink a few cans. Guaranteed to make you feel like a kid again. Some of us actually never grew out of that stage.
