thanks. i found some nice wooden tool handles for the poles that are solid wood & hard as a rock. i plan on coating them with epoxy. the plan for the spud pole holes is to epoxy them in and fillet around the seams.

awesome. thanks for the response - that is precisely the kind of thing i hadn't thought of. i just assumed that epoxy resin would stick to the pvc. good ideas for the poles. thanks! btw: i've got the bottom on now, but haven't taken any pics. I'll post more this weekend.

Thanks for the kind words. haha - that is the laziest dog i've ever seen. I've had her since she was about 6mos old and all she ever wants to do is lay down. i'm surprised she was standing upright in that other picture.
