JD, how did you get curved slats? Steam and bend them? Or cut them curved?
Inquiring minds want to know. And, so does Bambii, our Swedish masseuse.

Two thin boards with glue between them, bent and clamped around a form.
I did use wider boards for the back rest slats. This reduced the number of trips to the forms and I like the look of fewer slats. I don't feel like the wider slats are strong enough for the chair bottom. This chair is made from cheap fir lumber. A stronger wood like ash may would work.
