Good luck Mike. My 83 YO Mom got moved out of her memory care facility to a hospital, then a skilled nursing facility after her normal home had a rash of positives. She never tested poitive though and is now back home. Took about a week for them to get the home under control.
Sorry to hear that, but sounds like good logic. Have you looked into gyro-planes? I still need to get a demo ride, but they are supposed to be very smooth in turbulence.
Sorry, Chuck, that opinion is not just yours, it is shared by many. I hope Nov brings another 4 years of swamp drain and pain for the folks wanting to burn the Constitution.
Looks like you have a good plan and nice work table! I thought of this as an option that others may find handy depending on their build and workshop space. It's from the EAA (Experimental Aviation Association): http://www.eaa1000.av.org/technicl/worktabl/worktabl.htm
I think I have about 15 hours in tail draggers. They are not too bad, but I've never had a tough crosswind to deal with. You are right though, not really a jab unless you're in trouble, otherwise just steady movement.
They have Rotax engines. Agree on Cessna nose wheel stuts. Our CFI renewal instructor last wknd flies a C185! Solves that problem, as long as you have happy feet.
