    Raised Beds

In case anyone is interested in raised beds out of wood, I saw this at a store this weekend. Also saw a rocker made out of "plastic wood". It was comfy, but not THAT comfy .

    Grandson's Boat

Hi Beekeeper, that's kind of cool that the boat lives forever were hundreds of people can enjoy it. Off topic, but I'm curious, what is purpose of the curved screen(?) in this pic?

    Transom pirouge

Thanks for the pics, that makes sense now, and is simple in the good way. Somehow I was hung up on needing a rudder to go with rudder pedals. Both of your boats look perfectly suited for their job. Nice work on them. CLC Boats has some construction pics of SUPs with fabric, but it's under...

    Transom pirouge

Neat boats Muddybutt. When you get the chance, would you mind posting a pic of the rudder setup. It seems you already know how to work around the trolling motor shaft.

    Transom pirouge

Chuck built a JEM Swampgirl with a transom. It's here somewhere as well as the JEM site. Not exactly a pirogue, but seems to fit the mission other than rigging a rudder on the smallish transom along with the trolling motor.

Thanks Jack, I've come up with a couple of uses for it now.

    Really Strong Rope

Does it stretch much? I've seen the specs, but they are hard to put in perspective for practical use. For a hammock, would you expect it to stretch enough with a 170 pounder that it would have to be retied frequently?

Thanks Chuck. I know I don't fully understand, and bet many others don't either, what a PITA it must be to keep this running. We appreciate the time and money you generously give to all of us.

    Best Bottom Protection/Maybe?

Gosh BeeKeeper, every time you post a picture I get inspired and really want to try to do something as nice as you do. Then I wander off into a bunch of you-tubes and forget how I got there.

    A Skiff

Thanks for reminding us about the auction. I dropped a little cash yesterday, but don't mind because we budget for charity and I think the odds of winning are a lot better here. Hopefully it will be a win win this year.

    Plywood for rough use boat

How to check for voids? I see that advice often and understand why it's important, but not sure how to accomplish it. Unless the void is on the outside and presumably repaired with a "football", how would you know there's a void without cutting into it?
