One thing you might want to think about is local-grown raw honey. It's a very good combat against the allergies getting hold of you in the first place.
Could be the type of bag, maybe? The mummy bags we used in The Corps and in The Guard I never zipped except in some of the coldest weather. I felt like a roasting pig in anything above 20* or so...but as they say "YMMV"
I'm thinking rock maple on this one, judging from appearance through the dirt and sheer weight of the blasted thing. It's still heavy as all get out with the steel removed. Planning on running my shop with a live shaft and belts - it should make some good bearings, for sure.
Accidentally came up with some table parts. Someone had left an old upright piano in a house that's now falling in. Nephew and I grabbed the harp for scrap - but the wood frame is "Gi-normous!" (ever see "Elf"?) solid timbers. They'll make some sturdy parts, if I don't save them for something else.
Ours is a bit different.
Hog maws (jowls or stomach), slow cooked with the black-eyed peas, with cabbage (either in the pot, boiled, or stewed), and cornbread.
