Jack, ditto on your first post. I use the same idea, but with the wife's hair dryer on "cold" (my registers are in the ceiling). Once dry, store 'em with some rice in panty hose, or some tampons - works with firearms, too.

"Yes", and "No" If you are like me and wash & dry your tents after trips (ran a Cub Scout Pack for 5 years, and the Asst. Scoutmaster for 2), then the hdwe store stuff (as long as it isn't water based) works good. It just has to be applied each time you set your tent up. The stuff Chuck...

Well we got the two UJ center ribs and my center bottom board glassed, and the interior painted with resin. Started sanding a bit last night. Still need to fit the fore/aft (which is which?) deckplates, finish painting, wax it, and make the paddles. I'm getting impatient!

My ideas seem to be a blend of yours & Jack's. Been eyeing an old dresser that was left in the barn. If it's solid enough, I can add a top and use the drawers for storage. Seems to be about the right height, but I can trim the legs if need be.
