Yo B B, Your choice but, if you are a bit worried about straying off the line. What are a few more holes in the boat. Just show the girls how dad uses a guide set so the blade runs along the line, run the saw along the guide = no deviation from the line, a smooth cut and no extra ply to buy...

    Sabin River Trip

Sabine River Trip Just returned from a 2.5 day trip down the river. This is an annual trip for several clubs and as such is mostly for fun and food. In all, it is my guess that there were about 100 + - people on this trip. They came from Dallas, Houston, Austin, Shreveport and other lesser-...

    Clark Hammock

The bug netting is an intergral part of the hammock. It looks loose but, when I get in , it tightens up and there is plenty of room. I like the fact that I can twist and turn, scoot from end to end and not feel as if I was going to fall out. This thing is stable.

    Clark Hammock

Well, the Clark was dropped off yesterday. First some initial impressions. This is a well-made hammock. For the price it ought to be. I went over it and could find NO, NO bad sewing areas at all. The initial setup took 20 min but that included lots of looking, reading and pic taking to make...

    Clark Hammock

I have been wondering about just buying a couple of those [nurse] ratchit straps at a big box store [they have some that are rated for a ton or more] then just having a loup at the end of the hammock to hook into. The straps are more than long enough to go around most any tree a couple of...

    Clark Hammock

Well,I did it. Dropped the $$$$$$$$$$ and ordered a Clark N X 250. After reading all the good things that have been said about hammocks and looking at the pics of Piper and his skeeter bites. I went with the one that said skeeters could not bite through it. It will probably take a couple of...

Things are getting out of hand , BIG TIME

Just how long do y'all think it will be until there is a "maximum allowable life limit" I am reminded of one of the episodes from Star Trek the Next Generation in which once you had reached 45 years of age you were eliminated. Can't remember the name of it but Trois' mother was hot after a man...

    not a blond joke

It was a hot day and a sportsman had just pulled in to the store for some last minute items. His Black Lab was laying down in the back seat and to allow the dog to get some air , he rolled the windows down. After closing the door, he held up his hand and slowly backed away. After each step, he...
