    some back ground on the logging. in the first picture the pontoons are 2/3 under water picking up the log. the rig sit about 3/8 in water without a load. the 2 pontoons are 3 foot x 25 foot long. in the last photo @ the log butt the pontoons are underwater at the ends of the 4 inch pipe rail...

    I'll hit some spots and let seedtick take over. that tree (log) still had the root ball on it, it was 20 feet and took about 6 hours to cut off. we have a bunch of chain saws, a couple of 42 inchers and some smaller. we leave the butts in the water, they would make a fine table or something...

    I can only do one thing at a time, the pictures kill me, I dont do it enought. Bald, most of the stuff is in the mud. "they" been pulling them logs out for more than 50 years, they do got all the easy ones. some times a big storm will roll one up, we rine the banks then. me and tick give-up...

    weight is not everything as is size.you have to grow into whats important (to you). 25 pounds or 100 pounds, to last 2 years or 50 years, to support 200 pounds or 900 pounds. pro and con, what you got to trade. later Keith

    Ha Steve, I dont do much of that glass stuff BUT, I agree with chuck and BB. more epoxy and wash/ sand ( you need to wash before sanding to get the blush off without being air born). what epoxy are you useing? and no to that 3 day or 3 week wait stuff ( that was what they did in the old days )...
