I am With Dave on this one. A small skiff like a UJ bayou jobbie with a bow mount leccy. Ideal for here.

I agree with Chuck. The more I look at this boat, the more I like it. The Brazos River seems to be remarkably similar in paddling conditions to many of our rivers here. I think this design would be a winner here too.
