    I'm doing what a few on this board have done in the past -- joining two cheap wooden canoe paddles to create a kayak paddle. However, I couldn't find in anybody's post the technique to getting the scarf cuts just right so that they join well. I'll be feathering the blade about 30 - 40 degrees...
