Joey, Thanks that might be my problem. I painted the inside last wensday and have been putting coats on the outside up until last night. I just could not wait to put the boat in the water. Maybe one day I will learn patience.

Thanks Bearridge, I did know about the canoe trail. My brother-in-law and I want to do some of the overnight trips. This led me to investigate what kind of boat would work the best in the delta. That is how I wound up building a pirogue.
