Great job on the tri!!!! Looks awesome!!!!

Well sold the boat to some kid. He was like a little tike at a toy store. He said he planned to finish the trimaran and put sails on it. Felt good to sell it to someone with some spark!! Another guy called said he wanted to cut it up to use as furniture, I was like no way dude!!!!

Oh the boat is sad!!! With the birth of our son I have neglected the boat and the front section where the dry storage is completely rotted. So either I need to ditch it, maybe find another person who would take it off my hands and finish what I started. I get compliments on it all the time...

Doh !!!!! Disaster has struck!! When I was building it one of the many areas I rushed was the front dry storage, while I sealed all the seams with epoxy/cloth the inside walls I left bare. I realized this after I enclosed it but figured it would be alright, after all its dry storage. Now...

Well I finally put it in the water. At first one of my wires to the trolling motor came out of its connector so I rigged that up and took her for a spin. And here are the results. 1) Outriggers are a must as someone pointed out my center of gravity is high 2) I am not digging my trolling motor...

Thanx Shikes for the suggestion, but it will probably go in the water once or maybe twice at the most before I put the out riggers on. The idea is pretty much in my head, I plan to do fold up outriggers with 4 foot long airtight compartments. I'm just working out the mounting part of it most...

Thanx ironsides, it will probably be next summer before I put her in the water. I still need to make the captains seat and I got a host of other stuff I have to get done first.

Update Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Nothin real fancy, just got the center console attached to the boat. I did learn that going from 4 oz cloth to 8 oz(by accident) was a huge pain as the 8 oz is really hard to work the air out. And it required a lot of sanding...

Re: Skinny perow coming Looks great!! Why didn't ya make a storage compartment out of the front? If ya have a Marine store in ur town the storage doors are only a couple of bucks?
