Looks to me like it will take a lot more then 24 hours to build it.

24 hour build = possible, but probably not. Similar advertisement as "build it in a weekend", or a "12 hour canoe".
I think the designers main goal was for a simple to build, and inexpensive boat for first time builders. Looks like a win to me.

Be a good 1st time kayak to see if you like one. Or one you would not worry about to much to use for duck hunting. That's to get to the blind , out to shoot , then back in to return to the vehicle. It could be camouflaged to look like a log or something since it would not have the traditional boat shape.
Makes me think of the kayak I built when I was in high school to use on the Econ River. Not that long ago , early 60's. Made one trip down river when a guy saw it , he bought it from me right there at the take out. He wanted it for duck hunting and I really could use the money.
