My maps cases developed leaks. I ordered three Aloksaks 12 X 12 to carry maps. I'll put on duct tape ears and put them on a carabiner so they can be flipped from map to map.
On the Brazos, my Seal Line map cases let in water, got the maps wet, and I lost much detail from the maps.
I have a passel of others for billfold, passport, cell phone, Palm, valuables, etc.
You might want some too. They work.
