I am halfway through the second coat of epoxy on my pirogue.
I just read a thread about amine blush and the raka manual says that it should be washed off between epoxy coats.
So far, I haven't done that. How serious is a problem is it?

Also, How long do I have to let the epoxy cure before I can paint it (and do I have to wash the amine blush off again)? Thanks.

surprised there's been no reply..... I had a problem with blush, I found the new epoxy would bead up like water on a waxed car, I had to scrape off the fresh epoxy and wash the blush off then reapply.
As far as painting?? I'm guessing that would depend on which hardener you are using

I missed this post also.

I use the epoxy from Raka and if there has not been over 72 hours from the 1st application ... I just go ahead and do the build.

Anything over 72 hours then it is a light sanding and cleaned with a clean rag , normally a washed old "T" shirt I have thrown out.

As far as painting ....... Never have.
