been thinking about getting one of the H&R or Savage brand name single shot break down bolt action rifle either 241 or 223. any of you guys that hunt got one or used one? how reliable and acccurate are they? i would have a scope on it so does the opening and closing of the barrel or action affect the o rowing of the scope?
in the terrain and conditions i hunt sometimes i carry a rifle slung to my shoulder and my 870 shotgun in hand.these rifles look compact ,light (weight? ) also they have the sling attactments already too.
