Hi......

This is Chuck Littleton with southernpaddler.com http://www.southernpaddler.com/ and I agree with you 100 % about teaching kids to enjoy the outdoors. We also encourage them (with there parents help) to build there own boats, make there camping gear and enjoy all of the things we enjoy as older persons.

I give talks at Scout meetings about that very thing (Outdoor opportunities) and a lot of the members on southernpaddler work everyday with scouts on this very thing...... Camping, cooking and all of the fun activities a person can enjoy away from the TV set and in the outdoors.

Here is just one trip which was on the St.Mary's River between Florida and Georgia if you would like to look at it.
