The Cossatot iz one of two Arkansaw rivers I aint paddled yet. It wuz jest so hard ta catch the water when ya had ta work ta keep that roof above 'n the three squares on the table. Ole Chester 'n anuther fella I paddled with on the Big Piney filmed it at a good level. I wish I had known.

It iz jest over 6 minutes, so dial up folks take care.

Ya recall how we wuz talkin' bout how ya caint judge no rapid frum a pichur? Well, movin' pichurs kin fool ya too. That video Chester made wuz at 4.4'. Best I kin tell they didnt run the Falls...which iz a series of 6 rapids that all kinda run together inta one big nightmare when the water iz up round 5'.

Here iz the Falls....with jest a bit more water in it. Good thing Miz Bear 'n me didnt load up Wednesday 'n head over that way. That iz jest a bit too much water fer me. My ribs are okay, but my left arm 'n shoulder aint all the way healed. I mite give it try round 3' someday (with somebody who knows all the lines).....gives ya eddies ta catch 'n time ta figger out where ta go next.

The fella in the blue kayak iz named Eric.....in the slow motion part toward the end.
