Cutting corners

Took a bit of a liberty with Matt's great Laker design. I did check in with him and he was ok about modifying and posting the results. The corner at the cockpit was forever getting banged about with paddle shaft and tie down for roof rack.

Used tape inside and out so am confident its at least as strong as before. Just gots to do some sanding on the area. The rest is pretty much prepared for a repaint/revarnish/regraphite and the red inside easily scrapes off for a redo also.

That's a good idea. I can't wait to see it after the visit to the boat beauty parlor.

Almost there now just a few details to tidy up. Then Black lines top and bottom to straighten and re do. Quick scrape and paint inside and back on the water by mid week.
