We bought this canoe in the early 70's and took it down the Ottawa R and many of the rivers flowing into the Ottawa.
It also handled the Nahanni R easily. a 3 week trip, there was ample storage. We were young so it wasn't heavy on the portages.
It's a double covered canoe was made in Shelbourne, Ontario, by Emil Maschek, an Olympic paddler. It is a white water canoe so it spins easily but also ferries well which is great on the river. It also tracks well on a lake and never swamps in heavy waves.
