Figs

I picked five figs today off one tree today. They will start slow then will get up to speed. I have four that are bearing and one is a stick with a few leaves on it. I'll make fig preserves, freeze a bunch whole and dry and vacuum pack a bunch. Figs make you happy.

I sure enjoyed the few left on a tree at Poker Flat in the Sierra Nevadas. Sun ripened, fresh off the tree, they were JARVIS good estin.

After some cookie company misused them, and wapped them in dried sawdust mixed with wallpaper past - they are insufferably bad.
