It wasn't a long trip but for our grand daughter's first time in a boat, it was pretty good. We just crossed my pond a couple of times.

Before anybody fusses about the lack of lifejackets, Grandma made us stay in the very shallow water.

BTW, the bateau was built by my father and is more than 50 years old

Boy.....now that iz special. I been holdin' hands with a little blonde granddaughter myownself. I wished fer a boat when I seen the Puget Sound. Grandma aint hard ta look at either. Ya done good. I reckon it aint agin the law in bayou country ta marry the young gals. :wink:

Beautiful boat with a lovely little girl in a beautiful place and as Bear said,

Grandma is not real hard on the eye too. 8) 8)

Seedtick your starting her out right . Thats how I started mine out about the same age. There anint nothing in my book no better .

The john boat is something you can cherish for a long time.
