We took on the Florida Big Bend Paddling trail from Dec 02 tho Dec 09 2006. Our route was from Econfina to Salt Creek (Suwannee)
Here is just a description of our schedule and stuff. I will post a trip report of each leg of the trip soon (waiting on some pictures).

Our planned schedule:
Dec 02 (Saturday) Launch from Econfina, overnight at Rock Island.
Dec 03 (Sunday) Leave Rock Island, overnight at Spring Warrior Creek.
Dec 04 (Monday) Leave Spring Warrior Creek, overnight at Sponge Point.
Dec 05 (Tuesday) Leave Sponge Point, overnight at Dallus Creek
Dec 06 (Wednesday) Leave Dallus Creek, over night at Steinhatchee landing Resort http://www.steinhatcheelanding.com/site-map.asp
Dec 07 (Thursday) Leave Steinhatchee Landing Resort, overnight at Sink Creek
Dec 08 (Friday) Leave Sink Creek, overnight at Butler Island
Dec 09 (Saturday) Leave Butler Island, take out at Salt Creek in Suwannee.

10 day weather forecast, had Monday night, Tuesday lows at 27-30 degrees F.
With highs in the upper 60's to low 70's and lows in the upper 40's to low 50's
for the remainder of the week. And favorable 5-10 mph winds.
The Plan (shuttle-wise)
Leave a van and trailer (that can carry 8 people and 8 boats) at the take out at Salt Spring.
Leave a truck at Steinhatchee Landing Resort (our Wednesday night stop)
Continue on with two SUV's and a trailer to Econfina.
First, a quick stop in Ocala to get some last minute gear. Nice store, LOTS of neat gear. (Photo by Donna)

As you can see in the photo, it had been/was raining, a front was moving thru the area on Friday (our travel day).
