Freedom Of Choice

To me, nothing defines the concept of freedom better, or more succinctly, than having the freedom of choice. One of the first, and more important, such choices for our country was religious freedom. Each person choosing to define a creator in their own, personal way. Or, not.

Choosing our occupation, where we live, with whom we live, how we live, and for whom we vote - or not - are some of the ways we define our Lives, and who we are. Choosing the foods we eat, where we go to school, our school boards, the kind of vehicle we drive, the clothes we wear, and the way we cut our hair are more ways to define us as both individuals and members of groups.

This weekend and next week, we observe a birthday of a gigantic step for our country. Instead of overeating, let's over think. Think of what we have; let it wash over each of us.

God bless you, one and all.
