Labor Day on the Hillsborough River

Like most people, I have a Labor Day ritual.

Saturday is my day. I use the morning to do what I want (this Saturday was Mtn Biking), return home and then do my chores.

Sunday and Monday were reserved for the family.

On Sunday we decided to go to the local museum. While my daughter was in the kids area playing, my wife says to me “Lets go canoeing tomorrow and see if Tammy and Kevin want to goâ€Â

Glad you and your family are home safe and I commend you on your cool headedness as the more experienced of the group (Captain). As a Tug Captain I found that by you keeping cool and giving direct orders to your crew that you will make it through. The first thing I did after recovering from any emergency was to compliment my crew on the great job they did, the second was thanking god for getting us through.
By your keeping cool, your daughter probably didn't even know there was danger and your wife came through when you needed her most. Again job well done. A family that plays together, stays together. :D DocMobius
