No, not thinking of us guys; some of us are leftovers, though. Thinking now of Thanksgiving Day leftovers. Some folks get sumptuous, complicated, multi-step recipes to deal with the largess. I prefer something simple - soup and sandwiches - easy, filling, tasty. What more can a geezer ask? Local bakeries make really solid bread; not that namby-pamby white Wonder Bread crap. REAL bread - the darker and the heavier the better. Horseradish mustard, lettuce leaf, maybe a slice of tomato. Ohhhhh yeah!

A bit of stuffing/dressing (whatever it's known as in your locale) on a sandwich isn't too shabby either. Turkey's better, but sometimes beggars can't be choosers. Mashed potatoes are a classic side dish, of course.

Soup - now there's a whole other category of gastronomic, gustatorical splendor. Soup - nectar of the hobos. Simmer up turkey carcasses, skin, etc. into a meaty broth; separate out unwanted skin & bones; add veggies and noodles or rice (brown rice, of course). JARVIS good eatin'!

As Alton Brown would say, "Now that's Good Eats!"
