After watching Keith and seedtick build a dugout cypress pirogue, I wanted to do one. Just a couple of things were standing in my way. I didn't have any suitable cypress and I don't have any "dugout" skills. This is my scaled down effort. Not a real boat but fun to do.
I even had enough left over cypress for a couple paddles.

Bob, it was suppose to be scaled 1" = 1'. I intended for it to represent a 12' X 2' pirogue. It turned out to be 10.5" X 1.75". Close enough for building by hand and eye, I recon. I did mention I do not know what I am doing, didn't I?
