I did the same thing with one of my favorite plastic items , a Gallon Zip Lock Bag.......

Cut the thing so it would fold out for use , made the mistake of having the letting against the epoxy , glass and wood ......

If I would not of sanded it off my one boat would of been a good advertisement for ZIP LOCK. :p

Has anyone tried using a "release agent" on the Plexiglas or tin signs? Paste wax would work, and if any gets onto bare wood it would sand off easily. Saran wrap works too if you run out of large, plastic bags.

Wish I could agree with you but most of the time the plastic ( by itself) laid over the epoxy and glass then covered with a board leaves a small rippled pattern , guess that is what sanders were invented for , to get rid of them.
