New Kayak Plans: The Laker

The Laker looks like it would be the right boat for Scouts to build for paddling outings. At 13 feet and the light weight it would be a fun boat for geezers on day outings. You could get several of them on a overhead rack for transporting.

I also like the way you dropped the coaming at the back of the cockpit. With a bulkhead there it could double as a elevated seat when taking a break from paddling.
