That looks like a good craft to use when getting into the tight and small places where no other boat could go for fishing. You know the areas where no other boat would go and is not fished. Or a person could have it for surfing and playing around on the coast. It also appears to be a fun time boat to use for just having some fun on the water in the summer time as you called it , a Paddle Board. Just paddling around and being lazy out on the water. Lay back on it and get a tan , then take a dip and paddle on.
Heck a person could use it for all of the above if they wanted to depending on there desires and how ever they make it for there use.
Here in Florida it would be an perfect craft to go down one of our spring fed streams on for a days paddle and just enjoying life in the summer time.
Light weight and easy to car top ... You better expect some requests for one longer , especially from the backwater guys.
