OIL SPILL CONTAINED

Yesterday, on a whim, a fellow from Baton Rouge area flew over the spill, and made a spill of his own - common gritz. Notorious locally, Dick Maxwell was in an experimental state of mind, and worried about ducks and gas prices. So, he loaded up his plane with bags of gritz and a helper. Over the spill area, the helper started ripping open bags and dumping their contents onto the oily waters below. Two hours later people stared noticing a difference. Oil was congealing and was easy to collect.

Interviewed later, Dick said, "And best of all - it improves the flavor of the darned things!"

I hate to say this but Jack told me ( A long time ago when he was honest ) he does eat grits...... Not the Oil soaked ones.

Chuck is right, I did eat gritz once. Couldn't get any syrup of ipecac or Ex-Lax, so I just used gritz. Ahh, relief. :wink:

Jack, you just lost your TRAVEL FREELY WITHOUT MOLESTATION card here in the South.

(Read up on your American history, there actually was such a thing, and it allowed people doing good works to cross anyone's lines during the War Of Northern Aggression.)

Just stick to the plain, boiled potatoes......they've served you well so far. :shock:

There never was such a thing as a war of northern aggression. there was an American Civil War. Damned tragic time.
