I got to witness this once with my brother on the drive to go deer hunting in northern Wisconsin. They were so bright and so brilliant, I got scared at first not knowing what was going on. It was almost blinding.

We watched it dance across the night sky for hours.

The Northern Lights were out one summer when I was a little kid here in central Michigan. Red, blue, violet - all dancing across the sky.
