Panel Strength

When using wood strips glued together on a table to make a side panel there seems to be two choices. The panel can be bent into place on the boat and then glassed inside and outside.
Another option would be to glass the inside side while it is on the table. It then can be bent onto the boat ( the inside chine would be glassed also) and glassed on the outside.

Which way makes for a stiffer/stronger side? Does stiffer = better?

Here’s a question that may, or may not, be pertinent. When glassing a piece of wood that is then to be bent, should it be glassed on the compression side? Or on the tension side? (Think of a wooden bow.)
I’m thinking it’s on the tension side.

On the full recurve Bow's that I have , both sides are glassed.
Back to boats..... It seams that if either side is done and not both then the side that was done will negate the side that wasn't.

My theory is that if the boat is glassed after it is in it's final shape it would be stronger, no pressure to release.But that runs counter to stressed skin construction. I think I'd better leave that thinking to the engineers!
