Went to a local 911 memorial this morning and it was nicely done. I would say about 200 were in attendance including police, Fire Fighters, and some first responders. For a town of 60,000 residents, I thought it could have been better with attendance. Eighteen years ago... hard to believe it’s that long.

I was in Canada on a canoe trip. One of the paddlers came in 2 days later than me, and was tslking about planes flying into the trade centers. He tracked it on radio up until the second plane hit. Then he arrived, shut down his vehicle, and canoed in. We speculated all week, but never even came close to the real thing. Incomprehensible!

I was in the yard doing some lawn work when my neighbor across the street hollered over to me to get inside and look at the TV. I was glued to it not believing what I was seeing. Then the video of the 2nd tower started , how could this be happening in America ???
