Hi, I want to say thanks to everyone that posted and corresponded with me about the Luhr-Jensen Smoker. Turns out after months of research I ordered it and it WASN'T what I wanted :lol: It is mainly a "Cold Smoker" not a "Smoker/Cooker"....the heating element(450 watt) is way to small to do the variety of things I want to do. It is awsome for smoking fish ,jerky etc... (after smoking the meat stil has to be either grilled or finished in the oven. ),but not cooking ribs,shoulders etc. So I sent it back and am geting the "Cabelas Premium Smoker"(1675 watts). Now I still want a cold smoker, and I am going to make one. I have all the materials.
