    paddle with dowel insert and goopied wood to compressed and delaminated to sand and reglass, so removed damaged section. dry fit patch to check fit.

    I think I won by default, I had the only 12' wood boat there. there was a 12' SOF at 28lb that I expected to be lighter but wasn't. The laker using 3/16'' strips and 6oz cloth came in at 19.2 lb.

    Well she's about done, shot 3 coats clear coat on her yesterday and although I could be fussing some more, time to get her wet. Just about ready for our little Texas gettogether this saturday. now I might turn my attention back to the outriggers, sail mast,and boom.
