    Grilled Buffalo Wings

I tried it on some boneless and skinless breats. Was ok, but not the same. The skin is not all that healthy. But a crispy grilled skin is much better than deep fried. Not to say I'll never enjoy deep fried wings again. But this was a tastey variation.

Contact your epoxy vendor and ask. They should have knowledge of that.

    Grilled Buffalo Wings

Wings are getting ridiculously expensive to buy at a restaurant or bar. This puzzles me because the raw wings are pretty cheap and doesn't take a whole lot of effort to deep fry them and cover in sauce. Not to mention the angioplasty you need after eating them. For the Super Bowl, I decided to...

    New Pirouge Build

Strips should be 3/4" tall by 1/4" thick. Plane the board to 3/4" thick and then rip 1/4" strips. Not sure where the 3/8" dimension comes into play.

I know a lot of Texas builders that speak highly of Houston Hardwoods.

    Arauco Plywood?

Did you happen to notice if the glue lines were dark or not?

    Best Plywood for UJ Build?

good quality ply is getting harder and harder to find. Things to look for: -exterior grade (brown or black glue bonding the plies....look at an edge) -even thickness plies(much of today's junk ply has thin face veneers) -marine grade, typically BS1088, ensures there's no voids between the...

    Arauco Plywood?

On the Arauco website, it says So make sure you bought exterior grade. Glue lines should be brown or black. It looks like plantation grown pine. Pine will be a little resin-thirsty and heavy. But this looks like it might be different than your typical pine. Is it heavy?

    What Works / What Don't

For the record, The Laker side panels are not close to the 90. I guess "close" is in the eye of the beholder. FYI: Its flare is constantly swept on the rail curve and its bow/stern rake is "naturally" formed from it's constant flare angle. It also has a slight V bottom. There's a couple other...

    What Works / What Don't

I use Rhino3D, autoCAD, some spreadsheets, and a good journal of the many, MANY, mock ups I've stitched together. More than I care to admit. But the software only does what you ask it to do.

    What Works / What Don't

Perhaps you should start a new thread because this was about Bee's boat needs, which is solo, correct?

    What Works / What Don't

I imagine when you sit far back either the nose of the boat is up in the air or you have it counter-weighted to hold it down to compensate for improper positioning. So your solo-paddled hull is either out of trim or artificailly loaded. Your second question can't be answered with any hope for...

    What Works / What Don't

Well then we shouldn't care if a boat is flat bottomed or round bottomed for discussion. It floats on the water, it's a boat. Introducing imaginary streams, currents, or waves will only defeat or compliment the hulls design. I could see your point if we were debating if it's appropriate for a...

    What Works / What Don't

Bee, I say this with as much respect as I can: If you think those 2 are not related in a solo paddlecraft, you are being foolish. Good luck with your project.

    What Works / What Don't

I stated that all other things were the same, the pirogues would be about the same. But all other things are NOT the same. One is 38" wide and the other 29" wide. The height of the sides is where the 38" and 28" came into play. If it was a 3-panel boat, the side height has to be some amount of...
