Had a great week in southern AL last week.
One day I took a hike through the Bon Secour Wetlands near Gulf Shores.

This was a grand place to hike and had the entire area to myself.
Wildlife consisted of birds.

As the lake is down 90 feet or so due to repairs being made on the dam. They were not running much water, they were only running one sleuth gate an hour each morning and an hour each evening. The water would rise about 18 inches on the river but quickly receded.

Took a little fishing trip this last weekend.
Fantastic fishing caught walleyes and rainbow trout. We ate fish till we couldn't eat any more.
Wolf Creek is just below the dam of Cumberland Lake in Kentucky.

I'm considering a spring paddle on the Buffalo River in AR. Just wondering if any of you know anything about it? Looks loke about 100 miles long I'm wondering how long it will take to paddle the entire lenght?

Buddy let me just tell you about Canadian weather.
Lets see the day we shoved off they had 9 inches dumped the day before. We felt lucky :shock:
Then it rained, stopped and the wind blew, oh then it rained some more. Everyday in fact until the last day...
I started with my first one last week and I'll be posting one each Sunday except for time I'm spending in Quetico this fall.
