My oldest (17) suggested adding a bench seat with a hinged top so he can keep fishing gear, etc. in it. The girls (12)are well, girls, so I'm guessing they'll bitch about not having a comfortable seat... -

I'm starting to put together everything I need for UJ's pirogue. It should end up just less tha 16' and I ordered the 4th rib kit to make it more stable as it will be for my kids. I would like to put in a couple of bench seats, glassed onto the sides and bottom -- has anyone done this? Just...
