Thanks guys, for the compliments. :D

Jack I liked the hammock idea :D , but Momma (Queen) Bee said the lemonade and fan part was, and I quote "Not going to happen! That's a fact, Jack!"

Finished!!!! :D :D Well almost. Paddle needs a few coats of varnish, but the boat is "what it is".

Dang, Grampa keeper, remember I am still available for adoption if you build those for your grand kids.
Welcome back. I still take your request for kinship as a compliment. The only problem is now you have stirred jack up, again!

A few practice cast before getting underway:

The "real" grandson paddles his new boat on it's first trip.

It was a good trip. Pawpaw even managed to catch a couple fish.

He even let me try the boat. I was impressed with its stability and ease of paddling. May be a little small for my oversized physique but doable. A very light and handy fishing rig.

Thanks guys, but I should have explained. Same boat the thread is about. I am finally able to post pictures so I wanted to at least have one picture per build to replace the missing ones Photobucket removed.
