A reminder...................

If there were ever anything worth putting on your refrigerator door to daily remind us of what we have to do come November, this is it!

Retribution is less than 1 year away!

Take a look at this and just remember elections in November 2010.

U..S. House & Senate have voted themselves $4,700 and $5,300 raises.

They voted to NOT give you a S.S. Cost of living raise in 2010 and 2011.

Your Medicare premiums will go up $285.60 for the 2-years

You will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr.

Your total 2-yr loss and cost is -$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife.

Over these same 2-years each Congress person will get $10,000

Do you feel SCREWED?

Will they have your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes - food, etc., decrease?

NO WAY.

Congress received a raise and has better health and retirement benefits than you or I.

Why should they care about you?

You never did anything about it in the past.

You obviously are too stupid or don't care.

Do you really think that Nancy, Harry, Chris, Charlie, Barnie, et al, care about you?

Send the message to these individuals --- "YOU'RE FIRED!"

In 2010 you will have a chance to get rid of the sitting Congress: up to 1/3 of the Senate and 100% of the House!

Make sure you're still mad in November 2010 and remind their replacements not to screw-up. If we can do this for only 3 election cycles those who represent us WILL get the message loud and clear---"Make us happy or get a real job"! In addition an often overlooked benefit is that it will break the cycle of legislators who are wholly owned subsidiaries of lobbying interests and we'll be able to get laws passed that hold them in check!

It is OK to forward this to your sphere of influence if you are finally tired of the abuse.

Maybe it's time for Amendment 28 to the Constitution..

28th Amendment will be as follows:

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the U.S. Senators or U.S. Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the U.S. Senators or U.S. Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."

Let's get this passed around, folks - these people in Washington have brought retribution upon themselves! It's time for them to pay THEIR piper! 'THE PEOPLE"! Let's take back America. Let's put the political criminals back on the street where theft is still illegal and they can be charged and tried for their crimes.

If you don't forward this to all your friends you're just part of the problem of national apathy that has brought us to this moment in time.

'The People' ARE the only legitimate government and we're overdue to re-assume the reins of control. Let's DO IT!

PLEASE keep this moving until Election Day!

If I was king of swampratville I'd pass legislation where there were TWO elections. One at the beginning of the term and one at the end. The one at the end was a popular vote to decide if the elected official has done a good job. If the majority decides The elected official has done a good job, They keep thier office with all benefits attached. If they are found by the majority to have failed in thier task to serve the public and thier citizens then they should be taken out and SHOT. Bet we'd get some quality peope in there then! LOL   Then again, maybe not!

No, swamprat, what we'd get would be a bunch of democrats willing to take from the few to pay off the many, or steal from the future to buy the present. I would love a "None of the Above" option on every ballot, and real term limits. In fact, I'd even be generous with term limits - no more than two consecutive terms. If you've been out of office a full term and people want you back, you must have been doing something right.
