This is the best price that I've seen by $20 to $90. This is what I carry in the canoe and plane. It transmits your GPS location to the satellites, is coded to you individually, and sends a homing signal to inbound choppers. No subscription fees.
It's for real, not a toy.

If you are in trouble Jack just having a bunch of guys on Choppers show up may not help that much. Maybe you could reprogram it so that the USCG would come with a helicopter or something.

Seriously, they are on sale even cheaper now than when I bought mine. Some folks still list them at $325. Anchor Express is selling them now for $237.15. Saving your Life is only critical.
