Some nice pictures and I noticed that the local natives did not mind your wood boat in there area...... This is the nice thing about something natural just drifting along, everything appreciates a wood boat.

Nice photos, Rat. I really like the heron and the osprey. Last week, on the Au Sable, a red winged blackbird was just giving an osprey HELL! I figure that one of these days that osprey is gonna come down at about Mach 2, and that red winged blackbird will be a spray of black feathers and red mist.

Debbie used to watch for herons, and fish nearby. If there aren't any fish near, the herons aren't there.
