I havn't made this on in a couple of years now....guess it's time, the kids coming over for the Holidays keep asking me if I'll make them.

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp.
You need, bacon, medium size shrimp, wood tooth picks and some BBQ sauce.
Cut bacon strips into 1/3's or halves, depending how thick and long the strips are.....partially cook the bacon in the micro wave, so their still pliable and let them cool.
Wrap a bacon strip over a shrimp that has been cleaned and deveined with tail still on. Push a toothpick thru it to keep the bacon wrapped around the shrimp. Brush each side with BBQ sauce. Place all the bacon wrapped shrimp on a wire rack that sits in a pan. Let them sit about 15-20 minutes while you preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Place the bacon wrapped shrimp into the preheated oven and for around 12 minutes give or take. When done the bacon should be crisp with the shrimp pink. You have to be careful with shrimp because overcooking them can toughen them up.
Nothing worse than a tough shrimp!
