Been tying jigs all winter.

    Start tying Tarpon flies next week for Costa Rica.
    I thought some of you might enjoy seeing a few Crappie Jigs. :D

    Good looking fly's the Crappie ( Specks ) like the smaller ones. I'm sure they were for specks and not Tarpon judging from the hook size. :wink:

    Oh yes these are for use here in KY and IN fishing plus a few I've sent to the great states of TX, LA, and PA. I did managed to get out once on Dale Hollow in Dec with a friend and do a little float & Fly for smallies. Been in the local rivers in Feb and March trout fishing. Best this year was an 17 inch rainbow, which is a decent trout in our area.
    Got skunked last weekend, I guess I wasn't holding my mouth open the right way, least that's what I've been told. Which, by the way, I intend to have down pat by the time I hit the Plane to Costa Rica. :D
    Heck if it rains hard enough tomorrow to nix working I might just pull the canoe out and go fer a spin.
