Hi guys, my name is Dan and I began boat building this past February. I was a cold winter in Louisiana this year and cabin fever had me searching the internet for things to do. Since then I have built a skiff, 13 Laker, 14 Laker, and Okwata. Bouncing around in my head is a stripped built laker with no top, really just a small JEM TV.
Saturday, we had a crab boil on the banks of Bayou Lacombe and I brought my first build (Laker 13) for everyone to play with. Watching the crab fisherman work the boat and grab the floats was very interesting.
