Hi guys, my name is Dan and I began boat building this past February. I was a cold winter in Louisiana this year and cabin fever had me searching the internet for things to do. Since then I have built a skiff, 13 Laker, 14 Laker, and Okwata. Bouncing around in my head is a stripped built laker with no top, really just a small JEM TV.
Saturday, we had a crab boil on the banks of Bayou Lacombe and I brought my first build (Laker 13) for everyone to play with. Watching the crab fisherman work the boat and grab the floats was very interesting.

    Howdy, Dan!

Welcome aboard this old derelict. Cool pics for a first post - if you have more, please share.

Welcome aboard, Dan. Stories are a way of life with us geezers and GITs (Geezers In Training).
Keep the pointy end forward, and the greasy side down.
