In looking at their cooking gear, I see a steamer pad (not quite a steamer basket, but getting close) made of silicone. They bake in silicone muffin cups; we bake in el-cheapo plastic bags. A silicone pad like theirs, cut from a larger silicone baking pad for cake pans and such, could be set on a few handy sticks (often found hiding around camp sites) to elevate it above the water to handily steam breads, rice, and such. Easier to carry, unbreakable, maybe useful for another use.
Now, I have to put on my thinking cap and figure out a simple, rugged, reliable design for the silicone steamer basket made from a silicone pad. And, uses for the rest of the larger pad. (deep, grumbling sounds of gears grinding here, sparks flitting about all sharply pointed objects in the house - and even a neighboring tree outside!)
