I inherited this kayak a few years ago from a neighbor of my parents. Not sure where they got it, but I expect they had it for a while.

It is not the prettiest kayak, but it floats and it's quick. It came with a MEC skirt and a wooden offset Nimbus Capilano paddle.

If anyone has any information on the model or year of manufacture, I would appreciate knowing more about it.

Unfortunately I may end up selling it this year or trading for something much smaller as our kids are young and can't/won't make much use of it for many years.

It was made in Shelbourne, Ontario, by Emil Maschek. an Olympic paddler. It is a white water kayak so it spins easily which is great on the river, not so useful on the lake.
