First Boat in progress, I started with a Uncle Johns Kit and as you can see and have beefed up the design a little, I still need to finish sanding and epoxy the boat, I had planned to incorporate a electric trolling motor throught bottom on the stern, but can't decide if I want to do it to this boat or build another with a electric motor for power

Thanks , I was getting ready to do the same thing when I noticed you got it done. I got the ones in the pirogue section. (See I told you I was Slow)

Personally I feel that no one can ever have to many boats and since this one is such a work of art I would build one just for the enclosed trolling motor , battery box and controls.

I can't tell you anything about these folks , all I know is what they have on there web site but it might help you with your idea.

inboard electric

I think I saw a post on here from black water boat, where a guy had mounted a electric motor through the bottom ofa boat, he had a little stump jumper looking device on the bottom to protect the prop...looked like a real neat installation....I have a large removal panel on the boat I posted, my thinking was that I would keep the motor and control under the compartment to give the boat a clean look....
